We are a thriving amateur dramatic group based in Kimpton Village in North Hertfordshire.
The Kimpton Players is a registered charity and since its inception in 1943 has raised many thousands of pounds for local and national groups and charities.
We aim to put on three productions each year – Old Time Music Hall in February/March, a play in June and either a play or a pantomime in November/December. We have also recorded some radio plays.
We have our own building, the Playhouse, situated in the grounds of Kimpton Memorial Hall. The Playhouse is at the heart of the Players and is where we rehearse all of our performances.
We are always looking for new members of all ages from 11 years upwards with a wide variety of skills, to cover all aspects of putting on a show from acting and stage management to painting scenery and making the tea.
