The Kimpton Players

We are a thriving amateur dramatic group based in Kimpton Village in North Hertfordshire.

The Kimpton Players is a registered charity and since its inception in 1943 has raised many thousands of pounds for local and national groups and charities.

We aim to put on three productions each year – Old Time Music Hall in February/March, a play in June and either a play or a pantomime in November/December. We have also recorded some radio plays.

Watching the kimpton Players always brings a smile to my face, they are a great bunch
of people and always bring the house down – well done – keep up the good work!!!!

An Inspector Calls was a production of great quality, excellent acting, good costumes and a superb set.

The performances in The Caretaker were worthy of the professional theatre.

This ambitious production was performed in November 2013 and produced by Debbie Roberts.

Music Hall 2014

Keith White produced yet another stunning Music Hall to celebrate 50 years of Old Time Music Hall in Kimpton!

Abigail’s Party

This very successful production, produced by Mike Taylor,  was performed in June 2014.  

The Glass Menagerie

Doug Jenner directed this Tennessee Williams classic “in the round” with a cast of just 4 people.
